Prognosis:
It's not good enough.
Treatment:
1- Artificial saliva and pilocarpine
2- altering the treatment if the cause is a certain therapy.
3- zinc supplements if there is deficiency.
4- zinc infusion with chemotherapy is the patient is treating from cancer.
5- Alpha lipoic acid.
